On April 8, 2025, BRP Architects proudly celebrated its 47th anniversary, a testament to nearly five decades of enhancing the relationships between people and their environments. As we mark this milestone, we reaffirm that our focus is precisely where it should be: on our clients, their customers, and patrons.
“Its incredible to be celebrating 47 years of shaping spaces with purpose, collaboration, and permanence. It is with gratitude for our past and a focus on the future that we remain committed to designing environments that make a difference for our clients and our communities.” Christopher Swan, Managing Partner & Architect
Since our founding in 1978, we’ve broadened our services and enhanced our expertise in architecture, project management, planning and development. Today, you can see the results of our influence in more and more cities all over the United States, as well as in our hometown of Springfield, Missouri.
At BRP, we believe thoughtful design begins with listening. Our process is collaborative, rooted in relationships, and guided by the unique needs of our clients and the communities they serve. We approach every engagement with a focus on clarity, simplicity, and lasting value—prioritizing design solutions that are as functional as they are forward-thinking.
“BRP Architects is 47 years young this year and I want to acknowledge the contributions of past and present clients, our team members, consultants, construction partners, and family who have been a part of this incredible journey. It is a true testament to their commitment to excellence that has made this milestone possible, and it is certainly a motivation, in their honor, to work towards making the next 47 years even more eventful!” Gerri Kielhofner, Architect & Partner
As we reflect on the past 47 years, we’re grateful—for the clients who’ve trusted us, the partners who’ve collaborated with us, and the team members who’ve helped shape who we are today. We’re proud of our history, but our focus remains on the future—continuing to deliver purposeful, enduring design solutions that make a difference.
