Happy Holidays from BRP Architects!

At BRP Architects, we love the holiday season. Our office comes together for a spirit week that is filled with creativity, team bonding, memories and laughter. Each day focused on a new theme and activities to get everyone in the holiday spirit. 

Here is a recap of our spirit week:

Monday - Christmas Accessories & Staff Potluck 

We kicked off spirit week by showing off our favorite holiday accessories which included socks, headbands, etc. We also had our office potluck where we all brought in our favorite dishes to share. 

Tuesday - Santa’s Helpers & Deck Your Desk Competition

Tuesday we had Santa’s Helpers come in to Deck Their Desks! Our staff dressed up as Santa’s favorite helper. We had appearances from elves, reindeer and the Grinch! Our staff brought their creativity, lights, ornaments and garland to transform their workspace. This year’s winner for the Deck your Desk vote was Stacey, pictured, in the first image below. 

Wednesday - Red & Green Day & Pancake Breakfast

First thing Wednesday morning was our pancake breakfast to give our staff the fuel to keep going through the week. The office was filled with people wearing red and green. 

Thursday - Winter Wonderland & Cookie Decorating Contest

Thursday the office experienced a snow storm that brought in a ton of fun competition first thing in the morning. Our staff were dressed in white and were challenged with a Gnome hunt. Jon found a whopping 67 gnomes and was our winner! This activity brought out a friendly competitive side in all staff members. We wrapped up the day by doing a cookie decorating contest. Each cookie showed some major creativity from our staff. Nicole with cookie number 7, was the winner!

Friday - Ugly Sweater & Ornament Exchange 

We wrapped up spirit week with everyone showing off their favorite and most outrageous ugly sweater. We also exchanged our Secret Santa ornaments, where each person gave and received a thoughtful holiday keepsake. 

Christmas Spirit Week Winner: 

After a week filled with a ton of laughs, memories and competition, we were thrilled to crown George as this year’s Cheermeister! This trophy is inspired by the Grinch, the Cheermeister trophy is awarded to the person who best embodies the holiday spirit throughout the week. 

Staff Christmas Party:

To close it all out, we had our annual holiday party, hosted by Ocean Zen. Our evening started with cocktails and delicious food to get us ready for a night filled with festive celebrations. After dinner, we had our White Elephant gift exchange. The room erupted with laughter and jokes as the stealing of presents unraveled. It was a night filled with good food, tons of laughs and unforgettable memories. It was a great way to come together as a team and toast to our accomplishments throughout this year.
