We are excited to announce that the Yellowstone Valley Wine Cave and Event Barn projects have reached a significant milestone: all buildings have received their certificates of occupancy, and the final touches are being completed by the contractor. As these spaces are near full completion, we would like to share more details about these stunning additions to the Yellowstone Valley Lodge property.
Yellowstone Wine Cave
Tucked into a hillside east of the Event Barn, the 1,123-square-foot Yellowstone Wine Cave offers a unique and intimate setting for wine tasting and private dining. Concealed underground within precast concrete arch structures, the wine cave is designed to blend seamlessly with the natural landscape while offering an exclusive atmosphere for up to 23 guests.
Guests are welcomed by a custom wood door into a dimly lit space, designed to foster conversation and connection. The walls and ceiling, crafted from locally sourced stone, enhance the cave’s earthy, cozy feel. At the heart of the cave is a custom wood dining table that serves as a gathering space, surrounded by views of the wine displays showcased behind glass. The custom millwork of the tasting bar adds a sophisticated touch, ensuring that each guest enjoys a memorable wine-tasting experience.
Both the Event Barn and the Wine Cave reflect the region’s natural beauty while providing a high-end, thoughtfully designed experience for all visitors. As we wrap up the final details on these projects, we look forward to seeing them come to life as premier destinations for weddings, events, and fine dining.
Yellowstone Valley Event Barn
Perched atop a scenic bluff with sweeping views of the Yellowstone River, the 7,400-square-foot Yellowstone Valley Event Barn is a beautiful blend of rustic elegance and modern amenities. Designed to host weddings and hospitality events, the barn’s impressive timber structure evokes a warm, inviting atmosphere that is both timeless and versatile. The main hall is a showpiece, highlighted by a grand staircase at one end and custom iron doors adorned with stained glass at the other, which depict native landscapes.
An outdoor patio and covered trellis offer breathtaking views of the surrounding Yellowstone Valley, making it an ideal spot for outdoor ceremonies or receptions. Five smaller meeting rooms extend from the main hall, providing flexibility for event planners to accommodate up to 240 guests. Mezzanines on either side of the hall, along with private dressing rooms for the bride and groom, offer an elevated perspective of the events below.
Additionally, the grand staircase provides a dramatic setting for the bride’s entrance, while a double-sided fireplace crafted from local river rock serves as a centerpiece that enhances the space’s warmth and charm. The addition of a 1,300-square-foot wing will further expand the barn’s capacity, making it a prime destination for gatherings of all sizes.
