Legacy Bank and Trust's New Headquarters in Springfield Breaks Ground

On Tuesday, June 16 a groundbreaking ceremony was held for Legacy Bank and Trust's New Headquarters in Springfield, MO. This 40,000 square-foot bank will be located on the 2.5-acre property at 3250 East Sunshine St., the former site of Meek Lumber.

“We are excited to strengthen and solidify our presence in the community with a robust physical presence,” said Chris Harlin, Chairman of Legacy Bank and Trust. “This move will improve our service, efficiency, and collaboration while providing a first-class work environment for our associates.”

The new four-story building will include approximately 1,600 square-foot of retail banking space with a drive-through on the ground floor, along with commercial and administrative banking functions on the second and fourth floors. The third floor will be available for future growth.

“The classic and functional design of this facility will have a positive impact on the lives of our talented team while providing high-end amenities to better serve the Bank’s Premier small business and individual customers in the region,” said Brandon Taylor, CFO/COO, Legacy Bank & Trust. “We have selected a top-notch team to design and construct this project, and we are excited to see our vision take life.”

Construction on the bank's headquarters is estimated to complete in the Summer of 2021.
