Since mid-April, the Embassy Suites by Hilton Grand Rapids Downtown has opened their doors to guests. This upscale, all-suite hotel features modern industrial decor with 250 guest rooms in seven stories overlooking the Grand River. Being in the Monroe North business district, the hotel is close to nearby attractions, such as the DeVos Place Convention Center, the Van Andel Arena, and the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum. It overlooks the Grand River and is close to parks, cafes, breweries, and outdoor activities. “The hotel was designed to maximize the guest’s view and connection to the Grand River as well as to activate the street level experience in this quickly developing urban neighborhood”, BRP Architect Christopher Swan stated.
