Courtyard by Marriott Indianapolis Fishers opens near Fishers District

The BRP designed Courtyard by Marriott Indianapolis Fishers opened its doors earlier this month at 11550 Whistle Drive in Fishers. The hotel will be a part of a new mixed-use development called The Station that will feature a 7,000 square foot multi-tenant building, 20,000 square foot outlot PAD for sale or lease, as well as 37 three-story townhomes by Pulte Homes. The Station is adjacent to the 18-acre mixed-use development called the Fishers District.

Dunn Hospitality Group is the owner and manager of the six-story 145-room Courtyard by Marriott. The exterior design of the hotel features a dynamic material palette including brick, aluminum composite panel, glass fiber reinforced concrete panels and EIFS. Inside, the hotel features an innovative lobby experience offering engaging technology as well as inviting, flexible spaces to work and relax. Other features include 2,000 square feet of adaptable meeting and event space, expansive fitness facilities, an indoor pool, outdoor patio, brand-new guest rooms with pull-out sofa sleepers, room service and a bistro bar offering sit-down meals throughout the day.

With convenient access from I-69 and 116th Street, hotel guests can easily get to where they are going and are just a short drive away from Rouff Home Mortgage Music Center and Indiana’s only Topgolf and IKEA, which together attract nearly 1.5 million visitors each year. The Station being adjacent to the Fishers District also allows guests access to an artful blend of dining, retail, and entertainment all within immediate proximity to the hotel.

This marks the second BRP designed hotel that has opened in the area within the last few years, the other being a 211-room dual-branded Hyatt Place/Hyatt House that is located on the south end of the Fishers District. The new hotels are expected to accommodate the expanding business and leisure travel needs of the rapidly growing Fishers suburb.
