Rebecca's hometown is St. Peters, Missouri and she just recently graduated from Kansas State University with a Masters in Architecture. Since being at BRP, Rebecca has been working on an addition to a Home2 in New York. With this project she has been doing a lot of work with details and designing a patio trellis. Rebecca's favorite part about working at BRP so far is the collaboration and teamwork amongst the office. In her free time, Rebecca enjoys reading, baking, painting, drawing, bowling and casual gaming.

Let's get to know Rebecca a little bit better...

Who or what inspired you to pursue architecture?

"I discovered my love for design through a video game. I loved building and creating things in the game, and I was and still am pretty good at it. I figured why not make a career out if it and that is what I did. I also have a love for details and knowing how things go together."

What is your favorite piece of architecture?

"My favorite piece of architecture is Sainte Chapelle in Paris."

What's your favorite food or restaurant?

"I like a lot of things, but my favorite foods would have to be pasta and pierogies."

What is your dream project?

"My dream project is to design my own house one day."

What is the best design advice you've ever received?

"My favorite piece of advice is to treat every drawing like a piece of art."
