#WeekendsInSGF is our employee takeover where we try to highlight fun things to do in and around our hometown, Springfield, MO. BR&P Architect & Partner, Ben Van Eps, snapped some photos for our Instagram for the October takeover!
Thursday

First up on the takeover… coaching my son’s game! It’s the last game for the seven and eight year old soccer league held through the Ozarks Regional YMCA.
Friday

Family fun night at the “Monster Mash Costume Party” at Field Elementary! We had fun with all the ghouls and goblins.
Saturday

Awesome day of fall flying with the family. We were about a week short of serious foliage viewing but a beautiful day for flying anyway.

Fall flying on a sunny and clear day in the Ozarks! Short hop from 3DW (Springfield’s Downtown Airport) to 4MI (Carroll County Airport – Berryville, AR). The boys make great navigators. Thanks 3DW for the awesome service and airfield.

Late lunch at Maria’s Mexican! Yum!

Awesome day to visit Nathanael Greene Park. The boys went to the office with me for a while, but they needed to get out and run. Next stop – Harter House for steak and fish.

Butler, Rosenbury & Partners designed the recently completed Peace Through People Pavilion at Nathanael Greene/Close Memorial Park. The pavilion includes a covered band shell that is powered for stage lighting and sound. The stage faces a landscape open-air amphitheater, and is designed for special events and cultural performances hosted by Sister Cities and Friends of the Garden.
