The five-story 151 room Hilton Garden Inn is open and welcoming guests! The hotel is located in the growing city of St. Matthews, KY, just outside of Louisville. Amenities include the Garden Grille serving breakfast and dinner, a spacious bar, a 24-hour Garden Market, and an outdoor courtyard with a fire pit. It also features 2,000 sq. ft. of meeting space, a business center, fitness center and an indoor pool.
The interior has a modern feel with a lounge outfitted in splashes of orange, green and gray. The guestrooms have barn-style sliding doors on the bathrooms and expanded counter and cabinet space. Keyless entry systems are also available through the Hilton app.
The hotel is unique in several ways. It is the first 9.0 Generation Hilton Garden Inn completed in the U.S. The first floor is built with insulated concrete form blocks, which are energy efficient, able to be constructed quickly and contribute to a fire resistant first floor platform, allowing wood framing to be used on the top four levels.
Located just 15 minutes from downtown Louisville and Louisville International Airport, the hotel will draw weekday business and weekend “getaway” travelers alike. The Hilton Garden Inn will also impact the local economy by creating 30 new jobs and bringing tourist dollars into the area.
