With four multi-family housing projects on the boards, two in design and two under construction, it’s clear to see the housing market has rebounded. We also note that the market is reaching out to all demographics. From lakeside apartments and condominiums to downtown loft living, these multi-unit housing projects are completely unique, but all have the same goal – fill the market void.
College Station Lofts

This mixed-use, three story, 26,000 sq. ft. building is under construction in downtown Springfield, Missouri, and will house retail/restaurant space on the first floor and 18 apartments on the upper floors. Parking garage accessibility is an attractive feature because having a car for transportation around the city is essential, so the upper floors connect to an existing parking garage. Aimed at young professionals seeking an urban living environment, there are one and two bedroom efficiency unit options. Each unit connects to the outdoors via a private balcony.
The Vue

The Vue is a 184-unit, upscale apartment development located in West Wichita, Kansas and is comprised of mostly one and two bedroom units and 8 three bedroom units. Located adjacent to a beautiful 30 acre lake and across the street from a golf course, the property will be the first of its kind in the area to feature units with nine foot ceilings and luxurious granite countertops in kitchen and bath. Additional contemporary features include stainless steel appliances, designer cabinets and plank floors throughout. Resort-style property amenities available to residents include a state-of-the-art, 24 hour fitness center, a cooking/wine tasting area for events, a clubhouse, and a pool area with covered cabanas, outdoor kitchens, and a fire pit area.
Walnut Street Cottages

This proposed project contributes to the established narrative of Springfield Missouri’s Walnut Street Historic District. BR&P worked to achieve balance between the neighborhood’s design standards and the needs of the developer. Situated between Missouri State University and downtown Springfield, walking paths will be added for safer, more convenient access to the University. Each bedroom will have its own bath, and the units are designed to appeal to university-related tenants as well as downtown enthusiasts. One, two and four bedroom apartments are available.
The Majestic at Table Rock

The four-story, 68 unit upscale condominium building with spectacular Table Rock Lake views is ideal for visits to nearby Branson, MO or to relax lakeside. This property was destroyed by fire, so BR&P was commissioned to design the reconstruction of the condominiums with increased fire protection and resistance, greater acoustical performance and more durable exterior materials – all elements which will help provide the many condo owners with confidence and peace of mind in the new building.
