Let's get to know Rebecca better...

You mentioned you love to read, what is your favorite book or series?

"My favorite series is the Carve the Mark series by Veronica Roth."

How did you know you wanted to pursue architecture?

"I knew I wanted to pursue architecture because it allowed me to be creative in many ways and get into details of things, which I love."

Where do you find your best design inspiration?

"I find my design inspiration from the things and places I've visited in the past. One place that’s very close to my heart is The Forks Marketplace in Winnipeg, Manitoba. My dad’s side of my family is Canadian and every time we visit, we must go to the marketplace. It inspired one of my designs that got me runner up in a design competition I did my second year of architecture school!"

What is your favorite food or restaurant?

"I don't really have a favorite food, I like a lot of things, but if I had to pick one thing, it would be pierogis."
