Lauren Cook & Nicole Buerke: BR&P Welcomes Two New Members to its Team of Design Professionals

On June 1st, Butler, Rosenbury & Partners (BR&P) welcomed  Lauren Cook, Marketing Coordinator, and on July 27th, welcomed Nicole Buerke, an Intern Architect, LEED AP BD+C, to their team of design professionals.


Miss Cook, a Springfield native, graduated from DePaul University in Chicago, IL, in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in digital cinema and minor in marketing. She then attended Missouri State University, obtaining her Masters of Business Administration with a certification in marketing in 2015. While at Missouri State, she worked as a graduate assistant in the Marketing Department in charge of departmental social media, producing and editing all promotional film content, and photographing events.


Miss Buerke, originally from St. Louis, graduated from Drury University in 2013 with a Masters of Architecture and minor in global studies. While attending Drury, she was vice president of Tau Sigma Delta, the architectural honors fraternity, involved in AIAS (the American Institute of Architecture Students), and studied abroad in Volos, Greece for a semester.  Nicole is an associate member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). Prior to joining BR&P, Miss. Buerke worked for Jacobs Global Buildings in St. Louis, and has project experience designing government facilities, corporate interiors, and a technology and lab facility.


An Intern Architect is a graduate of an accredited professional program in architecture, who has not yet passed the series of exams required by the state of residency in order to become licensed.
