Springfield-Branson National Airport

The Springfield Branson National Airport Restaurant Renovation & Expansion in Springfield, MO 2018 was a record-breaking year for the Springfield-Branson National Airport! 1,075,425 passengers used the airport in 2018, the first time in history the airport had hit that 1,000,000+ passenger mark. To assist with that predicted growth, the airport needed some upgrades. Last spring, BRP designed a renovation and expansion to the airport which included an expansion of the restaurant area, as well as adding custom designed charging tables throughout the concourse.

An addition to the Dade County Library in Greenfield, MO The Dade County Library was running out of room for their children’s area. The old children’s section was transformed into a computer lab.

An installation and renovation of the elevator for Kentwood Hall on Missouri State University’s campus in Springfield, MO: The most recent renovation to Kentwood Hall included an elevator replacement and an addition of a stair tower. One of the challenges faced when doing an addition to a building is deciding how much should it blend with the existing building and how much should it stand on its own. BRP’s approach was a dual reading. “On the one hand if you wanted to see the stair tower as unique, you could because it has a glass reveal that says this is new and modern.  On the other hand, we used the same materials as the existing building, allowing it to blend in,” says Tim Rosenbury, BRP Architect & Partner.

OzAir Hangar in Springfield, MO The second hangar is an expansion to the OzAir compound at the Springfield-Branson National Airport. The project is the culmination of a 50% growth in business for the client. The 17,541 sq. ft. hangar was designed to accommodate a variety of fleet and overnight craft of varying sizes.
