Christopher Swan

Licensed in Missouri, Alabama, Montana, and Tennessee, Chris has worked at BRP since receiving his Bachelor of Architecture from the Hammons School of Architecture (HSA) at Drury University in 1998. He has served HSA through the Alumni Curriculum Advisory Committee and the Director’s Search Committee, and served the University as the Drury Alumni Association President. He is currently an Adjunct Instructor at HSA for Architectural Professional Practice. Chris has been invited to be a guest lecturer at ITT Technical Institute, and at Jarrett Middle School in a seventh grade science class to educate local students on sustainable design and practices in the built environment.
As a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), he has served on the local, state, and regional levels. He served as the President of the Board of Directors for the Discovery Center in Springfield and the State as a grader of discretionary grant funds for the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Additionally, Chris is a graduate of Leadership Springfield Class XXIII and was named one of Springfield Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” for 2008 and a "Men of the Year" honoree for 2020.
