Fun Fall Activities in Springfield, MOFall is an exciting time in our hometown of Springfield, MO. With the weather getting cooler and the leaves starting to change, you can feel the spirit of the season starting to kick in. With this change in season comes many fun fall events for people of all ages to enjoy. There’s nothing like getting in the fall spirit by carving pumpkins, attending Oktoberfest events, and going to corn mazes. Whatever you may like, you’ll be sure to find an event that you or your family will love. Here are some fall activities we think you should consider doing this season:

    • What: An Oktoberfest for cat lovers! Lost Signal is combining their love for beer and their love for cats. The event is free to attend, there will be drink specials on their Towerfest beer, food specials, live music, local cat charities, and pet related businesses!

Springfield Jazz FestivalSpringfield Jazz Festival 2019

    • What: Jazz music in Downtown Springfield, with Lee Ritenour — a grammy award winner, headlining the all-day event, which includes free live music on two stages — Park Central Square and Park Central East.

Ozark Fall FarmfestOzark Fall Farmfest

    • When: October 4-6, 9am-5pm
    • What: The Ozark Fall Farmfest is an agricultural trade show with all the latest agricultural products, services and technologies in addition to stock dog demonstrations, live animals (including cattle, goats, rabbits, pigs, donkeys, sheep and horses), antique tractors, and rural living booths.

Downtown OpenDowntown Open

    • What: Putt your way through Downtown! Downtown Springfield will be transformed into a mini-golf course for one day. Giving you a chance to putt your way around our great coffee shops, retail stores, restaurants and more.

    • What: Come enjoy a day of fun for the entire family, including the fur-kids! Entry into the event is $2.00 per person/pet. With paid admission, attendees can take part in ALL of the activities — including one of the LARGEST COSTUME CONTESTS/WALKING PARADES YOU’VE EVER SEEN!

    • What: Wingapalooza is the premier wing competition in the Midwest, where area restaurants and corporate teams compete for honor and prestige as they seek to earn the title”Best Wings in Springfield”!

    • What: Five weekends of fall-themed fun at the farm! Meander through the corn maze, take a hayride, pick your own pumpkin from our pumpkin patch, ride the Cow Train or Grain Train, try your luck at carnival games, bounce on inflatables and much more as you enjoy this Midwest fall tradition!
