New Hotel Openings this Summer! Two new BRP designed hotels opened their doors to guests this summer. On July 24th the Aloft Glendale at Westgate and on August 6th the Cambria Bettendorf in Iowa had their grand openings.

Aloft Glendale at Westgate The Aloft Glendale is a four-story 100-room hotel on a 2.4-acre property located adjacent to the Westgate Entertainment District. This district is one of the premier entertainment destinations in the region. Room in Aloft Glendale Some highlights of the hotel are its modern loft-style rooms that feature 9-foot ceilings, plush platform beds, 42” LCD TVs, and walk-in showers with rainfall showerheads. Other highlights are the W XYZ bar, live local music, vibrant use of color, and the fact the hotel is pet friendly. The employees even set out water and food bowls at the entrance for pets checking in.

Cambria Bettendorf opening

Cambria BettendorfThe Cambria Hotel in Bettendorf is the first Cambria in Iowa. This 112-room hotel located in the heart of the rapidly growing Quad Cities region features contemporary guest rooms, spa-style bathrooms, a state-of-the-art fitness center as well as an indoor pool. Guests can enjoy on-site dining comprised of a menu serving local specialties, liquor, wine and craft beer. The hotel also features an open lobby space to work, socialize and hang out, as well as a multi-function meeting space.

During the grand opening, Frontier Hospitality Group’s Dan Huber and Bart Baker announced they will donate 100 rooms at the new hotel at the 76-acre TBK Bank Sports Complex off Interstate 80 to local charities to use for fundraising efforts. “They can auction them off so they can raise money and folks will have an opportunity to come here and give the Cambria a try in 2019 and into 2020,” Huber said.
